Needed - Brain Transplant

Happy Belated Easter Friends,

Would you  believe I had an Easter post ready  to go and forgot to post it?   Yup!!  Totally forgot about it. No excuse either as we were home that entire  day.   My brain needs to be replaced.  It's too bad we don't have Velcro body parts so when one thing fails, we just undo the Velcro and replace the part.  Simple!

I really thought when I posted by in January that I could do  something a little more frequently than twice a year.   So much for those plans.   I told a very dear friend one day when she asked why I don't post more frequently that I just don't have anything new or interesting to post about.  But I'll try to be more faithful.

By the way, the photo in the header of this  blog was taken when we were in Sorento, Italy about 8 years ago.   I loved that city and the view was fantastic.  Our daughter and son-in-law took us on a cruise around Italy.  it was a fantastic trip and we enjoyed every minute of it.   I would love to do more of those trips, but traveling is way too hard for Mr. D and me these days.  So, those of you still in good health, do your  traveling now while you can.   There will come a day when you  can't do it anymore.

Thanks so much for reading this blog.   I welcome comments and look forward to them.

Until next time,

Mary

  2. Me too, I like the idea of velcro body parts. I'm weary fake body part already since I had breast cancer. No velcro though. I have post notes everywhere to remind me of doing little chores that I'm afraid to forget.

Happy Belated Easter to you too.
    Hugs,
    JB

  6. Haha! Love the idea of body parts that can be easily replaced. Maybe one day it will happen!

I think I went to Sorrento when I was a child, too young perhaps to appreciate everything about it. But I have great memories of when I was 10 or 11, and my family were living in Germany, and my dad bought a caravan. We'd take it down the autobahn through various countries and (usually) into Italy. I can still remember how beautiful it was round Lake Garda with the roads going through the tunnels. Strangely enough I have rarely returned much to Italy as an adult, and never to the really beautiful places. Your post makes me think perhaps I should.
